Babies, babies, babies!

As just in the past 6 months, we have welcomed 2 new beautiful babies into my family...and many friends have more on the way, here are a few baby cards to make you oooh and ahhh...just like a baby! :)

This first one was created using a cut file in my Silhouette Studio. It's accented with patterned paper from Michael's, flowers, buttons, satin ribbon and a Spellbinders die. The stamp set used (polka dots) is from Simon Says Stamp.

I decided to make a matching gift tag so that it can be a gift set for a baby shower, or what have you.

This one has a base of Papertrey Ink's Rustic Cream cardstock-- I just love the weight and the specks, so beautiful. The stamp set "baby cakes" is from Hampton Art. It's vintage and absolutely adorable.

Here I once again used an adorable cut file from the Silhouette Studio and paired it with just lovely My Mind's Eye patterned paper. I thought it would be fun to make a coordinating envelope so...

Hope you enjoyed these as much as I enjoyed making them!
Have a great Monday and craft on!

More and More!

My apologies for the numerous posts-- when entering into PaperTrey Ink's challenges, they require the submission to each have a different link address so I cannot post multiple cards in one! Here is the final one for tonight!

This one will be a double entry for PTI challenges-- it fulfills the card sketch/color palette challenge as well as today's challenge where we had to center our card around a large word.

And these were the chosen options:

PTI's Anniversary Challenge

For this particular challenge, we were to choose a card sketch and color palette and make a card using both of them combined. Here is one of the cards and another will shortly be posted! These were the ones I chose:

Another Day, Another PTI Challenge!

A quick post to share my card for today's PTI challenge. The challenge is to create a card that is centered around/includes a large word. Here is my take, though I will most likely have a few more submissions, thus a few more posts for the challenge!

Enjoy and craft on!

Valentine's Day Card Series: Day 7 & 8

Alas I once again have skipped a few days-- my entire household has come down with a nasty cold, including my caretaker husband so it's been pretty 'interesting' around here. On top of that, our high yesterday was -7 degrees, so it does not make anyone want to get out of bed unless they utterly have to!

Here are a few Valentine's Day Cards to hopefully  inspire you:

MIM #150

I had so much fun creating the card for PTI's Make It Monday Challenge, I decided to make another! Here it is:
The base was created using PTI's Rustic Cream Cardstock and from there I layered and stamped as Melissa Phillips did. The only slight variances that detracted from the original a bit is the use of vintage lace, lilac tulle and no button, twine or sequins. I wanted something soft and girly and I think I accomplished that, don't you?

Enjoy and craft on!

Make It Monday #150: Window Screen Cards

Another week, another PTI challenge! This week's was for Window Screen Cards. Melissa Phillips shared her technique this week and I was just ecstatic to participate! Her work is always so romantic, soft and beautiful. Here is my take:

I used the Ruby Reprise stamp set to embellish for the aqua cardstock mat, and the front panel of the card. The sentiment from the stamp set is so versatile, as it could be used for birthdays, weddings, graduations etc,. I just love the color combination of grey and aqua and thought it would work perfectly for this card project. I finished it off with silver sequin, a button and some twine... et voila! Hope you enjoy!

Valentine's Day Card Series-- Day 6

Hello all,

I have another card project to share with you for the series... hope you enjoy!
This card came together pretty easily. I have vowed to use my scraps more and that is precisely what I did
! The bottom polka dot patterned paper is from an old paper pack from MME, then a sliver from Crate Paper and finally Bazzill glitter cardstock at the top. Layered was a blush colored velum strip cut out with AC Knock Outs punch. I then added lace, a paper doily which is underneath the centerpiece of a large circle and scalloped circle with "love birds" from the marriage stamp set from Inkadinkado. All topped off with May Arts' blush chevron twill ribbon.
Hopefully this provides you with the inspiration you need to whip up some quick and easy cards for those you love!

Ahh technical difficulties...

As I was unable to use my computer these past few days, I have missed both day 3 and 4 of the series. Here are a few Valentine's Day Cards to make up for my absence! Hope you enjoy and craft on!
